What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking an experienced manager with 7-10 years experience in internal audit, compliance testing, or audit sustainment and remediation services for a US Federal Agency. Must have experience leading a team and possess excellent analytical skills, technical leadership ability, and client-facing experience delivering high-level support.
Requirements:
  • US Citizenship (Required).
  • BA/BS Degree (Required).
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
  • Seven (7) or more years’ total experience in the Federal workspace (Required).
  • Seven (7) or more years of federal government accounting or audit experience, or
  • Experience in conducting Risk Assessments and Internal Control reviews in accordance with the GAO Green Book, OMB Circular A-123, and DoD RMIC guidance.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and written.
  • Experience managing or coordinating the activities of Accountants and/or Auditors, serving as a group leader or coordinator acting as liaison with clients.
  • Experience in providing financial transaction research and analysis activities, which may include the review of individual project work papers and documentation necessary to support findings.
  • Must currently be employed as a Manager at a management consulting firm or IPA directly supporting a U.S. Federal Agency financial management or audit engagement.
  • Must live in the greater Washington DC region: DC, MD, or VA.
This is a remote opportunity that requires monthly/biweekly office visit
Preferred:
  • CDFM and/or CGFM certification.
  • Master’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.
